Anahiem’s Jean-Sébastien Giguère has taken the vote to play goal for the Western Conference in the NHL All-Star game. Bringing in a total of 617,241 ballots, Giguere will face off against another Reebok player- Sid Crosby. Crosby, a starting forward in the Eastern lineup, broke records in the number of ballots he received in this year’s vote. With 13 days of voting left for the 2009 NHL All-Star game, Sidney Crosby can not only pack his skates for Montreal, he's also earned himself a new record: The Penguins captain now holds the record for the most ballots received by one player in one season in the history of All-Star Game voting. Most major news outlets point to it being his first.
