Slap Shot is the quintessential classic of hockey films. With true cinematic elements like icon Paul Newman, the Hanson Brothers, and helmet-less hockey – how could it miss? Well Hollywood loves a good sports movie, and they love to recycle. A remake of Slap Shot is in the works. Let’s hope they can find some actors who can skate and handle a puck. Now, the question is, if they had to cast real NHL players- who do you think has the chops to make the cut?
