Martin Brodeur tied Patrick Roy’s record of 551 regular-season wins by a goaltender on Saturday night, when the Devils trumped the Canadiens 3-1. Roy himself was in the stands in Montreal to watch the seminal game. Brodeur is enroute to break the NHL record when New Jersey plays the Chicago Blackhawks on Tuesday.
