Having taken the record for most NHL wins by a goaltender, New Jersey Devils’ Martin Brodeur is fast approaching the league shutout record. In Friday night’s game against Minnesota Wild, Brodeur blocked 35 shots for a 4-0 victory, and tally of 101 career shutouts. That puts him just two behind matching Terry Sawchuk’s record of 103.
