Montreal, Mar. 1, 2010 – Give a talent like Sidney Crosby the right tools to work with, and there’s no limit to what can be accomplished.
One of the top players in the NHL and a leader on ice for Canada during the 2010 winter games, Crosby netted the golden goal last night with a wrister off his Reebok 10K SicKick II stick as Canada edged the USA 3-2 in overtime.
This season, Crosby became one of the last NHL players to make the switch from a wood blade-and-shaft combination stick to a one-piece composite construction. As a testament to the strides Reebok Hockey continues to make through the technological advancements of its product, Crosby has exhibited more confidence than ever before with his 10K SicKick II in hand.
The 10K is Reebok’s lightest stick ever, bringing to the market an unprecedented feel and control for a quick response and an explosive shot every time. The new Sickick II construction gives the 10K increased stability and an ultra-low kick point, enabling the puck to explode off the stick with a wicked-fast release. Reebok’s Pure Fiber technology allows the 10K to be its first stick with continuous carbon fibers running through the shaft to the tip of the blade for the ultimate in feel and puck control.
The 10K SicKick II stick is currently being used by over 100 NHL players.
