Anahiem’s Jean-Sébastien Giguère has taken the vote to play goal for the Western Conference in the NHL All-Star game. Bringing in a total of 617,241 ballots, Giguere will face off against another Reebok player- Sid Crosby. Boston center Patrice Bergeron is back in action, helping the Bruins beat the Capitals 3-2 in overtime on Tuesday night. Suffering a concussion in a Dec. 20 game against the Carolina Hurricanes, Bergeron returned to take 8 out of 12 faceoffs, goal assist to Marc Savard, and round out the night with 17:38 in game play. Marty Turco, who earlier in the month played his record breaking 421st game with the Dallas Stars, had his 35th career shutout on Tuesday. Making 25 saves for a 2-0 win over the Atlanta Thrashers, this is Turco’s second shutout of the season. For more details, check out TSN.ca.
