RBK Hockey Is Title Sponsor for 2007 ECHL All-Star Game

PRINCETON, N.J. - The ECHL announced on Wednesday that the title sponsor for the 2007 ECHL All-Star Game will be Reebok Hockey.

The 15th annual midseason showcase of the top prospects in the Premier ‘AA' Hockey League will be hosted by the Idaho Steelheads at the 5,006-seat Qwest Arena in Boise, Idaho.

The 2007 Rbk Hockey ECHL All-Star Game will be played on Jan. 17 with the 10th edition of the Rbk Hockey Skills Competition being held on Jan. 16.

Attended each year by representatives from both the National Hockey League and the American Hockey League, the All-Star Game has produced 28 players who have gone on to play in the NHL and there were five former All-Star coaches who were assistant coaches in the NHL in 2005-06.

The game has been televised each of the past five years and in 2006 was available in more than 80 million homes on The NHL Network, NHL Center Ice, America One and OLN, the cable home of the NHL. It was also telecast live on the Internet and remains available on demand by Yahoo! The audio broadcast was produced by NHL Radio and was available live on XM Satellite Radio, the nation's leading satellite radio service with more than six million subscribers. The audio was broadcast live on the Internet and remains available on demand by Yahoo! for the eighth consecutive year in 2006.
